This Warranty Policy explains how warranties apply to pool equipment sold by The Pool Salt Guys and how warranty claims must be handled.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

All pool equipment sold by The Pool Salt Guys is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, not a warranty provided directly by The Pool Salt Guys.

Warranty terms, coverage periods, and conditions vary depending on the manufacturer and the specific product purchased.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe a product is faulty or requires warranty assessment:

  1. The warranty must be handled directly with the manufacturer.

  2. The customer is responsible for contacting the manufacturer to initiate a warranty claim.

  3. Proof of purchase (such as an invoice or receipt) will usually be required by the manufacturer.

  4. The manufacturer will assess the product and determine whether repair, replacement, or refund is applicable under their warranty terms.

The Pool Salt Guys do not manage, approve, or process warranty claims on behalf of manufacturers.

Our Role

  • We act as a retailer only for warranty purposes.

  • We are not authorised to approve warranty claims or make warranty decisions on behalf of manufacturers.

  • Any costs associated with warranty inspections, freight, removal, installation, or reinstallation (where applicable) are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Exclusions

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper installation

  • Incorrect chemical balance or water chemistry

  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions or maintenance guidelines

  • Damage caused by power surges, insects, vermin, or environmental factors

Please refer to the specific manufacturer’s warranty documentation for full details.

Australian Consumer Law

This Warranty Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that goods are of acceptable quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes those rights.
